Our Comprehensive Firearm License Preparation Course is a detailed, practice-oriented program that prepares you for all aspects of the competency exam required to obtain a firearm license. During the course, you will become familiar with legislation, safety rules, firearm handling fundamentals, and more.

We provide a comprehensive perspective on legal firearm ownership, ensuring that you not only develop practical skills but also gain a deeper understanding of the responsibility and motivation behind owning a firearm.

Course Overview:

Theoretical Part:

• Conditions and procedures for obtaining a firearm license, including required forms and applications
• Motivation and psychological aspects of firearm ownership
• Legal aspects of firearm ownership under Slovak law (Act No. 190/2003 Coll. on Firearms and Ammunition)
• Criminal law aspects of firearm possession

Practical Part:

• First aid procedures on the shooting range
• Basic firearm handling with an emphasis on safety and live-fire exercises

What You Need to Bring:

• Notebook and writing materials
• Suitable clothing based on the season and current weather conditions
• An open mind and a willingness to learn—we will guide you on how to prepare for the exam, but mastering the material is up to you

• Firearm rental is included in the course fee
• Safety gear rental (ear and eye protection) is free of charge
• Shooting range rental is not included in the course fee
• The cost of ammunition is not included, as we tailor the course individually, and each participant has different needs. We will provide ammunition as required.
